Previews

Sometimes cinema take a film print to show it in cinema in preview mode before the release date of the film. Well. Before all money and attendance were entered into first week box office data. But now we have an ability to add these data into special flat record called preview flat record.

Let's go to see differences and how the FDM will calculate data for this.

Flat sale form

First of all – enter new record into the flat_sale form.

You should specify the realease date of the film in the field “Date from”. This needed because some FDM reports ignores the release date from the estimates table.

Ok, in the field “Preview date” – you can specify the date of the preview. It's not used now, may be will be used later.

Other fields: “Preview” checkbox should be signed
“Attendance” – should have non-zero value.

Preview's gbo should be entered into the field “Amount, US$”.
Note that amount should be in USD, this is one of flat's constraints. Don't forget about this.

Edit Flat form

The same rules as for flat sale form.
