Film selector Films are used in more than 25 forms in FDM online. Based on the statement that the quantity of films can exceed some hundreds, we had decided don't use traditional list combo box. We used the text-based film selector. Today we have two different film selectors that working both.

Fix invoice This form allow to change the invoice that was already completed. It applied to save existing reports that was made after the invoice was completed. And data from the fixed invoice will be used from the date when the invoice was fixed.

Flat sale This form allow to enter flat sale of the film to the selected cinema. Select: film, cinema. Enter: Date from in the format “dd-mmm-yy” (like “25-nov-10”), amount in US$, note for the invoice. Ok, please use only this date format. Later in reports you'll have an opportunity to change the date format if in your country other one is used. Because in Europe for example, known format is DD/MM/YYYY, or others.

Speed the same First idea was to upgrade FDM server with more memory, from 4 to 8. But during tests we may see that the speed the same. Probably FDM need more CPU cores for speed-up or divide power between servers (mono one one, mysql for second).
